The chief objective of environmental education is that individual and social groups should acquire awareness and knowledge, develop attitudes, skills and abilities and participate in solving real-life environmental problems. Affective Domain: Affective domain of environmental Studies encourages the development of feeling of fondness or love fort the nation. The objectives of affective domain are as follows:

Psychomotor Domain: Psychomotor domain of environmental studies encourages man to participate in protection, conservation and improvement of the environment. The objectives of the psychomotor are as follows:

2. TO participate in programmes aimed at minimizing air water and noise pollution.
3. To participate in programmes aimed at preventing soil erosions.
4. To participate in programmes aimed at eliminating food contamination and adulteration.
5. To participate in cleaning neighborhood.
6. To participate in urban and rural planning and execution programmers, such as installation of gobar gas plants, solar heaters etc.
Explain the Importance of Environment Science
Environment studies is important because it affects the economy and well being of human society. Man’s Endeavor in solving the world’s problem of making a better use of natural resources will largely depend upon advances in the field. Environment studies are demonstrating how man can derive material benefits from environment without causing any damage to it. Thus, environment education helps in:
1. Creating a healthy environment in the society.
2. Creating and increasing the awareness of and sensitivity to the total environment and its allied problems.
